Frame VR’s founder and CEO will bring his expertise and experience in VR and AR to the inaugural Screenwest Industry Advisory Group
Screenwest announced the inaugural Industry Advisory Group (IAG) on their website last week, with Justin McArdle from Frame VR representing virtual reality and augmented reality production.
Members of the IAG will advise and assist the Screenwest Board in monitoring and engaging with emerging issues and trends affecting the WA screen industry. The IAG will provide a vital link between the Screenwest Board and the WA screen industry, allowing the Board to make decisions on a properly informed basis.
According to Janelle Marr, Chair Screenwest: “The interest in joining the IAG was very high. We received a large number of strong applications and were able to appoint an IAG membership that provides extensive representation of the sector across the areas of drama, documentary and digital; key creatives, crew and post-production; and Indigenous, emerging, regional and gender.”
IAG members were selected through an EOI process for their interest, enthusiasm, commitment, and engagement with the screen industry in WA.
We congratulate Justin on his selection for the inaugural IAG, and look forward to the IAG supporting the Screenwest Board in building a vibrant, resilient, and diverse screen industry within Western Australia.
